Kung Fu Panda

Last night i watch Kung Fu Panda with Asti and her friends. Actually i’m not to eager to watch this movie, but hey.. who can resist a free ticket?? hehehhehe.. (thanks to Asti)

This movie about a clumsy panda name Po (Jack Black) who works faithfully in his family’s noodle shop, but by night he dreams of becoming a true master of the martial arts. But one day his destiny has come he become the chosen one to fight an evil enemy, snow leopard Tai Lung (Ian McShane).

Now an ancient prophecy has come to pass, and Po realizes that he is the only one who can save his people from certain destruction. With time running short and Tai Lung has escape from prison and coming to the valley, Po has to up against his destiny to become the chosen one.

With the help of Furious Five legends Tigress (Angelina Jolie), Crane (David Cross), Mantis (Seth Rogen), Viper (Lucy Liu), Monkey (Jackie Chan), and their wise sensei Master Shifu (Dustin Hoffman), all draw on their vast knowledge of fighting skills in order to transform a big fat panda bear into a lethal fighting machine.

Po can master the martial arts and somehow transform his greatest weaknesses into his greatest strengths and fulfill his destiny as the hero who saved his people during their darkest hour.

Overall, the story was very simple and all the character is not that strong except the villain in Kung Fu Panda, Tai Lung, it was PERFECT. I think the presence of such a villain really helped the film work. The CGI..?? It’s no Pixar film… but very good nonetheless.

Good thing about this movie, it’s a comedy movie. And thankfully the movie succeeds quite well on this genre. I can’t recall any more that i laugh so hard and always smiling or giggling through the run time.

The end result was I found myself entertained after i watch this movie.
